Our Website Design Projects

Whether it’s a single page website or a large-scale, complicated e-commerce project, we tackle every website design in the same manner: our 5-stage project plan.

  1. Initial Concept Proposal. When you first enquire about website design from DWB Consultancy Ltd, and before any payment is required, we will provide you with an Initial Concept Proposal. This gives you an initial look at how DWB Consultancy would propose we approach your website design, detailing estimated costs, rough website structure and theme, and proposed timelines. You can then use this proposal for comparison against any other quotations you may have received.
  2. Detailed Requirements. Once you have decided to proceed with your website, we will work with you to define detailed requirements. This will include details of the design, layout, logos etc, and will fully detail the content and functions required throughout your entire website. A document is produced as a result of this stage which we will ask you to approve. This document will then form the basis of the project and will be used to define the website that you will receive.
  3. Design & Build. We will take the agreed requirements and finalise the design to create your website the way you want it to be.
  4. Testing. The site will be published on our test server, to allow our developer and yourself to test the website fully before the site is made available to the public on your own domain/website address.
  5. Implementation. Only once we are all happy that the website is complete, we will publish the site to your website address and allow the public to access it. We will even continue to support you and your website for an agreed period after the website goes live.

Timescales vary depending on the complexity of the website. The above steps can often be completed within a 24 hour period if the website design in question is simple enough and the availability of all parties allows for a quick turnaround. Larger projects can of course span across a number of months.
